Camp Bluebonnet Welcomes New Medical Director

Dear Camp Bluebonnet, Children's Diabetes Camp of Central Texas, and T1D Community,

We hope this message finds you well. As we prepare for Camp Bluebonnet 2025, we would like to share an important update regarding the future leadership of our medical team. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Hannah Hamlin will assume the role of Medical Director for Camp Bluebonnet beginning in 2025.

Dr. Hamlin is a physician and diabetes educator with a personal connection to our mission, as she lives with Type 1 Diabetes. With 10 years of experience volunteering at diabetes camps, she brings both understanding and dedication to the position.

We also want to express our deepest gratitude for the years of exceptional leadership and commitment provided by Dr. Matt Stephen. His dedication to our campers' well-being and passion for Camp Bluebonnet have been invaluable. Over the coming months, we will work together to ensure a seamless transition.
